Company History
- 1995 - SiteScape founded. Provides Internet solutions through combination of computer hardware, software and consulting. Emphasis on services.
- 1997 - SiteScape becomes a partner of AltaVista, reselling and customizing its product set.
- 1998 - Early '98, SiteScape chooses to focus on AltaVista solutions. Dec. '98, Compaq approaches SiteScape with an offer to sell all assets of AltaVista Forum.
- 1999 - SiteScape acquires AltaVista Forum from Compaq, including all intellectual property, original engineers, 1200 customers & VAR network. Introduces SiteScape Forum 4.0 and 4.1 and SiteScape Workflow.
- 2000 - Forum 5.0, 5.1 and WebWorkZone are introduced.
- 2001 - Forum 6.0 released; bundled for the first time with built-in workflow along with wireless support.
- 2002 - SiteScape releases Forum 7.0, which features SQL database support, multi-file upload, an accessible user interface, and rich-text editing.
- 2003 - In January, SiteScape releases Forum Program Management and Forum eMeeting as add-ons to Forum 7.0, enriching its collaboration capabilities in both vertical and synchronous collaboration markets. SiteScape also opens its European office.
- 2005 - SiteScape acquires Imidio; introduces Zon a unified instant collaboration product. SiteScape also releases Forum ZX and Forum ST.
- 2007 - SiteScape releases Forum 8.0, which extends the product's collaboration capabilities to include blogs, wikis and support for VoIP phone conference calling. SiteScape also announces ICEcore, the first Open Source collaboration suite to unify team workspaces with real-time conferencing, while leveraging enterprise social software for rapid user adoption.
