Management Team

Brian J. Hays
Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board

Prior to becoming SiteScape's CEO and Chairman of the Board, Brian Hays was a member of the SiteScape Board of Directors, and he was a Senior Vice President at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). At SAIC he was responsible for a range of business development, operational and marketing activities, with a specific focus on the government market.

During his tenure with SAIC, Hays was the corporate manager for the development and marketing of $70 million in SAIC/Telcordia call center solutions and services to government and commercial organizations. In addition, Hays headed up SAIC's Collaboration Solutions/HUBS division, where he developed numerous applications geared to national defense. Ultimately, he helped land $40 million in funding from sources such as DARPA, the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, the Department of Education and the National Science Foundation, transforming the division into a developer of advanced collaboration portals for business and government systems. At SAIC, he also served as the deputy group manager of the Technology Analysis and Applications Group, a group responsible for $80 million in annual revenues in state and local IT software development, maintenance and network projects.

Hays was a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps, received his J.D. from the University of Michigan, and his B.A. from Princeton. Hays also serves on the Board of CosmoCom, Inc.


Andy Fox
Chief Technology Officer

Andy came to SiteScape as the founder and CEO of Imidio, the company that created the Zon real-time collaboration solution. Andy has experience in software, telecommunications, and storage area network technology and management. He has played a critical role in shaping the direction of voice and call center application construction, pioneering advancements in technology and strategy. Andy's venture prior to Imidio, iConverse.com, was focused on providing applications, tools and services for the wireless Internetworking marketplace. Andy was iConverse.com's founder, chairman, and CEO, and was named 2001 Entrepreneur of the Year by MIMC (Massachusetts Interactive Medial Council) . He successfully completed the sale of iConverse.com to Infoclarus. Prior to iConverse.com, Andy was a founder and CEO of Cereva Networks, a storage area network company, tasked with enhancing Internet availability and performance.

In 1992, Andy served as founder and CEO of Northeast Telecommunications. In 1994, he became founder and CEO of Technically Speaking Inc., a pioneer in the creation of call center and voice response applications and servers, which merged with Brooktrout Technology in 1996.


Peter Hurley
Executive Vice President, Engineering

As executive vice president of engineering for SiteScape, Peter leads product development and shapes the corporate technology vision. He also ensures that SiteScape's extensive reseller network and customer base receive prompt technical support and customization services.

Peter brings to SiteScape more than 30 years of programming and management experience at Digital Equipment Corp. and Compaq Computer, with the last six years dedicated to designing collaboration tools. He spent most of this time in the entrepreneurial environment of AltaVista Internet Software, Inc., where he was a driving force behind development of the original Forum product.

Peter was also a key member of the project team that designed and developed Digital's WorkGroup Web, the first totally Web-based collaboration tool. In addition, he led Digital's participation in the Open Systems Foundation (OSF) consortium to build DCE (Distributed Computing Environment) with IBM, HP, and Siemens.

Peter is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School with a B.S. in management science and a minor in computer science.


Kevin Grygiel
Vice President, Sales for The Americas

Kevin is responsible for ensuring that the sales organization communicates SiteScape's unique value to customers and business partners in North and South America. A 5-year veteran of SiteScape, Kevin previously served as North American Sales Director. Prior to joining SiteScape, he held a number of senior sales and sales management positions. At Ernst & Young LLP.s Northeast Technology & Security Risk Services practice, he was Assistant Director of Sales and led client service teams that matched solutions to business issues at major accounts in New England. As part of Pitney Bowes Management Services, he managed customer account teams selling enterprise business process management solutions to CXOs throughout the U.S. At The Thomson Corporation (WG&L), he served as Director of Sales, National Accounts.

Kevin received a B.S. in Business Management for Skidmore College.


Harold Lester
Senior Vice President, Operations

Harold "Chip" Lester is responsible for client services, professional services and operations at SiteScape. Chip has more than 20 years of experience developing and managing professional services businesses providing technology solutions and services for commercial and government customers.

Prior to joining SiteScape, he was Executive Director at Standard Technology Inc (STI) where he led restructuring of STI's Health Information Services business and operations. Previously, Chip was a Corporate Vice-President for Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) where he led several SAIC business units providing science, engineering and information technology services totaling more than $30 million in annual revenues. Chip also led technology development for CATEX, a leading provider of technology solutions for the global reinsurance industry, and was a member of its Board of Directors for seven years. Prior to SAIC, Chip was a Vice President at ICF, Inc. where he developed and led ICF's statistics and survey research practice.

Chip has an M.A. in Political Economics from the University of Texas.


Chris Pressley
Vice President, Technical Services and Engineering

Chris has been with SiteScape since 1996. During this time, he has been responsible for all aspects of technical operations, including business development and support, product customizations, and the rollout of SiteScape's hosted applications and services. In addition, Chris handles the day-to-day management of SiteScape's Virginia office.

His technical experience includes configuring and implementing hosting infrastructure, managing TCP/IP networks and applications, and deploying security applications and firewalls.

Chris received a B.A. from Wake Forest University, where he studied economics and physics.


Thomas Witkin
Vice President, Marketing

Tom is responsible for SiteScape's internal and external marketing programs, including product-line management, launch strategy and sales support, demand generation and marketing communications. In addition, he oversees design for new business solutions initiatives.

Witkin comes to SiteScape from The SpeedWork Company, where he was co-founder and president for six years. At SpeedWork, Tom worked to develop and market client server and web-based workgroup and enterprise project collaboration applications for major corporate and government sector clients. His consulting expertise was grounded from experience at McKinsey & Company and Booz, Allen & Hamiton. Witkin developed his extensive high tech strategy and marketing experience at Lotus, Texas Instruments, and as a co-founder of Atlanta Express Airlines.

Tom received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and an AB Magna Cum Laude in Technology and Public Policy from Harvard College.
