Forum's built-in workflow capabilities make it easy to automate routine processes from simple to highly complex. Workflows specify at-a-glance who must perform a task, what steps the task requires, and the current status of the work, so everyone involved is aware of what has happened and what needs to happen, and has ready access to key information and documents.

You define Forum workflows with simple menu commands and HTML forms — no programming required. You can quickly automate almost any process, such as:

The review, revision and approval of documents
The processing of Help Desk requests
Purchase Order approval cycles

The workflow interface charts workflow processes in an easy-to-analyze "tree" format. You can "zoom in" on specific process states to quickly view and alter state transitions, queries, alerts and access controls.

Built-in workflow templates are included with Forum to get you started automating everyday tasks like contact management, Help Desk, and resume tracking.
