What is WebWorkZone?
WebWorkZone is SiteScape's hosted collaboration service. It provides an effective and easy way to communicate, share knowledge, and collaborate with employees, customers and business partners, without the overhead of traditional software. Users can host online discussions; share and revise documents and files; chat; send quick messages, conduct polls, schedule meetings using shared calendars, and much, much more. The powerful Workflow capabilities make collaboration significantly faster, easier, and more efficient by automating repetitive tasks and processes.
WebWorkZone delivers SiteScape's Forum software as a subscription-based service. Your organization rents a monthly use license for each person on your team who needs to share or access information. You receive all the powerful features of Forum, but with the benefits of lower initial cost, instant deployment, and zero IT infrastructure burden.
As part of your monthly fee, SiteScape provides the server hardware, software, communications bandwidth, and support by hosting your application at our secure data center managed by Rackspace Managed Hosting. This deployment option grants high security and control with no infrastructure costs or burden. You'll be up and running in just a few minutes, you'll always be running on the latest version of our software, and you can be confident that application maintenance is being handled by experts.

Will there be new features and upgrades to WebWorkZone?

Because WebWorkZone is a web-based service, we can add new features automatically with no software to upgrade on your end. This ensures you always receive the latest technology, software and features of WebWorkZone. Although our existing set of services is quite robust, you should expect regular enhancements to the services offered through WebWorkZone.

How do I pay for WebWorkZone?
The first 30 days of WebWorkZone service is free. We bill for WebWorkZone based on the number of users in your account at the end of each 30-day billing cycle. Each WebWorkZone account must be billed as one account and individual users cannot be billed separately. We offer credit card charge capabilities (VISA/MC/AMEX) or SiteScape can invoice your company directly.

Can I migrate to SiteScape Forum or SiteScape Forum at a later date?
Yes. Migration is simple. After you've purchased your new Forum license, contact WebWorkZone support and indicate that you would like to transfer your ÒzoneÓ to an internal Forum server. We'll gladly archive your zone's data and transmit the data to you through whatever means you wish. We'll even burn a CD for you. This zone archive file will contain all of your discussion topics and postings, calendar entries, and user information.
What are the browser requirements?
SiteScape tests on a number of browsers, including Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Netscape, and Safari.
Is online documentation available?
Yes. Our thorough help files are available by clicking the Help link from anywhere within the WebWorkZone application.

How secure is WebWorkZone?
Security is paramount at SiteScape. SiteScape's WebWorkZone application is hosted at the secure data center of Rackspace Managed Hosting, a leading hosting provider. 128-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption between users' browsers and your site fully protects all data in transmission. Or, enforce 40-bit or 56-bit encryption at your option. Administrative data traffic is encrypted, authenticated and IP-restricted.
Is my personal data protected and how is it used?
SiteScape employees respect customer information. All SiteScape employees with access to customer data have signed the following Client Confidentiality Agreement: "Every person employed by SiteScape is obligated to refrain from discussing any client information, in any fashion, with anyone outside the company, including members of the employee's family. In addition, only those persons within the company with a 'need to know' should have access to client information. All client information is the property of the Company and under no circumstances is to be used for personal use, business or gain. Such information may only be used in the normal course of business for the company."
My company has a corporate firewall. Will this block my access to WebWorkZone?
Not at all. WebWorkZone was designed to safely and effectively traverse corporate firewalls. All communication is done over the standard HTTP port 80 and HTTPS port 443.
Does SiteScape backup my zone data?
Definitely. SiteScape performs a full data backup weekly. These backups are moved offsite from our data center and stored in fire-proof containers.
